Our New OLAPLEX Ambassadors, Jimmy Paul and Laurent Philippon!

The OLAPLEX family only grows when there’s something or someone truly special to celebrate. Our newest ambassadors fit the mold and truly give us a reason to party! Welcome to the family, Jimmy Paul and Laurent Philippon! As the newest OLAPLEX Ambassadors, the two will channel their love for OLAPLEX into gorgeous red carpet and editorial manes, global education, and advocacy. While you no doubt have already seen their work somewhere, get to know the newest members of our family!

New York based Jimmy Paul is a Philadelphia native whose work has graced the cover of Vogue many times. As a teenager, he knew he wanted to be a hairdresser, although his mother, who was a hairdresser and educator, was against it! He got his start in editorial with Interview magazine in 1993, then went onto his first shoot with Steven Meisel in 1995 for Vogue Italia. The rest is history.

The iconic looks of Jimmy Paul have influenced fashion, worldwide campaigns, and runway. We are beyond proud to have Jimmy as an OLAPLEX Ambassador! Follow him @jimmypaulhair for inspiration and his breathtaking looks created with OLAPLEX every step of the way.

Laurent Philippon began his career in hair in France, sweeping the floor and shampooing men’s hair at his father’s barbershop. As a teenager, he moved to Paris to study intuitive and experimental hairdressing under world renowned hair artists. He authored Hair: Fashion and Fantasy, a retrospective book reviewing the history of high fashion and beauty. Laurent has collaborated with photographers David LaChappelle, Patrick Demarchellier, Ellen Von Unwerth and more. His work has spanned American, British, Russian, and French Vogue.
